The Vauxhall Mokka airbag control module can develop internal faults which will illuminate the airbag warning light & set the fault code “B101D ECU Hardware Malfunction”.
Sometimes they also become completely defective and will not function so you find that diagnostic computers will not connect to or read the airbag system, with this you may find fault code U0151 is present.
