No Communication Fault U1726 in Citroen Relay, Fiat Ducato & Peugeot Boxer Airbag ECU Module

A fault that occurs on some Citroen Relay, Fiat Ducato & Peugeot Boxer airbag systems is a no commination fault with the airbag ecu. When this occurs the airbag light will be illuminated, the milage could be flashing and you will not be able to connect a diagnostic computer or scan tool to the airbag system.

You may retrieve the fault code U1726 'No Communication With Airbag Control Unit' from other vehicle systems.

This occurs when the airbag control module develops a fault with some of the internal components & fails. It becomes defective and is loses communication with all other systems on the can bus network.

When this fault occurs you either need to replace the airbag module or have it repaired.
